Overview

The Planning Officer will support the development and implementation of planning policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and contributing to sustainable development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Assess planning applications and prepare detailed reports
Provide advice on planning policies and regulations
Liaise with stakeholders, developers, and local authorities
Conduct site visits and evaluations
Support policy development and urban planning projects
Ensure compliance with legal and environmental standards
Requirements
Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or related field
Knowledge of UK planning regulations and policies
Strong analytical and report-writing skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Membership (or working towards) with RTPI is desirable
